The present study was conducted with the aim of the role of knowledge management in business sustainability. The statistical population of the study was information technology companies and the sample size for the expert interview was estimated at 8 people using the snowball method. The present study was qualitative-quantitative and expert interviews were used to calculate the factors. The DEMATEL method was also used to prioritize the factors and the cause-and-effect relationship. The present results of the study showed that organizational culture was the first priority and the development of knowledge-based processes was the second, and facilitating the transfer of research and development knowledge, providing alternative smart solutions, and the technological nature of knowledge were the next priorities, and finally, the causal model of knowledge management in business sustainability was presented.
