The upstream documents in the education structure are of particular importance because they outline the vision and fundamental goals of this complex and all competencies, responsibilities, rights and duties also stem from it.
The mission and mission of every system and institution determines the importance of that institution’s role in society. The mission of the formal and public education system in the Islamic Republic of Iran is: “Providing a systematic and fair basis for acquiring the necessary individual, family and collective competencies for all members of society in order to achieve an acceptable level of readiness to realize a good life in all dimensions.” The author’s main purpose is to examine the current status and future prospects of these goals in light of the criticism of upstream documents in order to be aware of the success and failure of the education complex in achieving these goals and to examine the causes of success and failure, along with presenting some approaches and suggestions.
